Hockey WA COVID-19 Update I 11 July 2021

Published Sun 11 Jul 2021

Hockey WA advises that, in line with the recent WA State Government’s announcement of easing of restrictions from 12:01am Monday 12 July, that all hockey activities in the Perth metropolitan and Peel regions will return to pre-lockdown conditions.

Masks will not be required,  there will be no limits on capacity for crowds and venues, and no service restrictions.

Hockey WA requests all stakeholders including players, spectators, associations, clubs and officials, continue to follow the public health requirements:

  • Following all hygiene requirements including washing hands and using alcohol-based hand sanitiser;
  • Maintaining social distancing of 1.5m wherever possible;
  • Downloading and using the SafeWA App;
  • If you are unwell or have any symptoms, stay home; and
  • If you have been to any of the exposure sites, get tested and remain home until you have returned a negative test result - more information on exposure sites and testing here

Hockey WA thanks its players, supporters, staff and partners for their understanding during the lockdown and post-lockdown transitional period.
