State Under-21 Extended Training Squads revealed

The extended training squads for the 2024 WA under-21s men’s and women’s teams has been announced, with 29 men and 26 women selected after a thorough trial process.
The selection process for the training squads comprised of two trials on 19 and 21 December, and a further two trials on 15 and 17 January. These squads will now complete a two-week training block prior to final teams of 18 being announced on Thursday, 1 February.
The under-21s men’s squad will compete in the first of two practice games against the Hockeyroos on Saturday 20 January at 7:30am on PHS 1, while training for the under-21s women’s squad will commence Monday 22 January from 7:30pm – 9:00pm on PHS 1.
Athletes will receive further communication from the coaching staff via email.
