Umpire Briefing - Friday 30th May - 6:30pm

Designed to educate umpires in the fundamental concepts of umpiring.

Umpire Coaching - Saturday 31st May - Monday 2nd June 2025

Register your interest to be coached by some of Hockey WA's Premier One Panel Umpires. Hockey WA will be sending a number of Umpire Coaches to the Bunbury Junior Carnival who will be available to coach umpires on games at Bunbury.

This is intended to assist umpires on the practical aspects of umpiring, including:

•Apply the rules of hockey

•Demonstrate correct use of the whistle

•Demonstrate correct use of signals

•Respond effectively to dangerous play

•Communicate with co-umpire

•Receive and respond to feedback from the umpire Coach/Senior Umpires.
