CEO Update I February 2022

It’s good to be back! 

I hope everyone in the wider Western Australian hockey community had a safe and enjoyable holiday period and have come back refreshed and ready to tackle another year filled with our great sport. 

2021 delivered a memorable year for hockey in WA, taking the sport to new heights in the state. We’re really excited to continue to improve on this in 2022, with preparations underway ahead of a challenging, yet exciting year for the sport. 

With the current COVID restrictions around WA and Australia, navigating 2022 will be a challenging task but we are well prepared on mitigating risk with a focus on playing as much hockey as possible. 

With the season nearing, it is essential to familiarise yourself with the COVID-related requirements surrounding hockey and vaccination requirements, as it will affect every member across the state. All important information is available on the Hockey WA website and social media platforms.

As the season approaches, we will have plenty of exciting announcements in store over the coming weeks, as we prepare for our upcoming competitions and events – make sure to keep your eyes peeled on www.hockeywa.org.au for more.
