Played on a smaller court with fewer players, indoor hockey emphasises speed, skill, and quick decision-making. At Hockey WA, we provide a range of indoor competitions, pathways to represent Western Australia in state teams, and opportunities to get involved in this dynamic format of the sport!

 Club Competitions - Details

  Juniors

Hockey WA hosts a variety of indoor competitions for junior athletes, with different nights scheduled for each age group and gender. These competitions provide a fun, fast-paced way to develop skills and enjoy hockey outside the outdoor season.

U14, U16 & U18 Competitions

Friday Nights - U14 & U16 Boys

Sunday Mornings - U14 & U16 Girls, U18 Boys and Girls

Fixtures to be announced in due course.

Junior Competitions Basic Rules
  • Teams Supply Umpire to their game each week
  • Players must be registered with the team to be eligible to play
  • Players must play a minimum of 3 games in that team to be eligible for finals
  • Where there is a draw in the Finals, a shootout will occur to decide the winner

 Seniors

Hockey WA’s senior indoor competitions cater to players of all abilities, with separate nights for each division and gender. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy competitive hockey in a fast-paced, social environment outside the outdoor season.

Divisions

Hockey WA in 2025 will offer two Senior Divisions - Division 1 Classic and Division 2 Club

Fixtures to be announced in due course.

Senior Competitions Basic Rules - Division 2
  • Teams Supply Umpire to their game each week
  • Players must be registered with the team to be eligible to play
  • Players must be recorded each week in RevSPORT
  • A minimum of 4 players are required to take to the court
  • Teams can play without a dedicated GK and 6 players on the court
  • Players must play a minimum of 3 games in that team to be eligible for finals
  • Where there is a draw in Finals, a shootout will occur to decide the winner

Masters

Hockey WA offers dedicated indoor competitions for Masters players, with fixtures scheduled on different nights for each age category and gender. These competitions provide a fantastic way to stay fit, connect with fellow players, and enjoy the high-energy indoor game during the off-season.
