Nominations open for 2024 WA State Country teams

Nominations are now open for players to be considered for the 2024 WA State Country Men's and Women's teams.

The 2024 Australian Country Championships will be held in Goulburn, NSW, from Saturday 3 August to Saturday 10 August.

To assist with squad selection, the 2024 Hockey WA CBH Country Championships, taking place at Perth Hockey Stadium in June, will be used as selection events.

The Women's CBH Country Championships will take place from Friday 14 June to Sunday 16 June, followed by the Men's CBH Country Championships taking place from Friday 21 June to Sunday 23 June.

Additional trials may be held after the initial squads are named.

A preparation program will be put in place when the teams are selected.

Interested players are invited to register their nomination here.

Players unable to attend the selection events through injury or other reasons that want to be considered are encouraged to nominate but they will need to make a case for exemption.

All exemption requests and enquiries must be sent to Hockey WA Performance and Development Co-Ordinator, Ian Healey.
