2024 KMSB INTERNATIONAL GRYPHON YOUTH CUP
The 2024 KMSB International Gryphon Youth Cup (IGYC) for boys and girls will be held in Perth from Thursday 21st November to Sunday 24 November 2024.
Nominations are now open to boys and girls strictly born after 1 January 2008 for selection in the IGYC boys and girls teams. There will be two boys teams and two girls teams selected from the trials.
Venue: Perth Hockey Stadium.
Trial 1: Tuesday 17th September 2024 @ 6.00pm to 7.30pm (Girls) or 7.30pm to 9.00pm (Boys)
Note: If successful in Trial 1, successful athletes will be advised to return on the Thursday 19th September 2024.
Trial 2: Thursday 19th September 2024 @ 6.00pm to 7.30pm (Boys) or 7.30pm to 9.00pm (Girls)
From Trial 1 there will be a reduced number of players selected to progress to Trial 2 on Thursday 19th September.

Eligibility
| Perth Based Players |
Only players who have attended a Perth Thundersticks Academy at either one of the North or South Hubs in 2024 are eligible to apply. This includes athletes in the Emerging Thundersticks Program. Players can register for upcoming Academy Programs in order to nominate, but may only be eligible to trial if they attend any program prior to the trials. If a player has not attended any 2024 program, the registration fee will be returned and removed from nomination list. |
| Regional Based Players | Regional players are welcome to trial for these Perth-based teams. However, there will be separate trials held for those whose primary residence sits within regional WA, for 2 x separate Regional Representative teams (1 x Boys, 1 x Girls). Regional Rep Team trial registration found HERE. |
| WA U16 Team Players | All Under 16 State Team players do not need to nominate, as they will compete in their WA State teams. |
Athlete Costs
Trial Nomination Fee: $50.00 (fee charged upon nomination)
Tournament Fee: $185.00
If you are successful in gaining entry into one of the four teams, you will be required to pay a tournament fee of $185.00. This price includes the tournament fees and a uniform consisting of a shirt and a pair of socks.
