In August and September  2025, Hockey WA will continue training preparations for all the Under 14, 16 and 18 Emerging Thundersticks Program and additional preparation work for club season finals, Gryphon Cup and anything else in between.

Important information

Age groups will be separated into age brackets. If athletes would like to train with the other age groups, please advise coaches upon arrival each day. 
During each session coaches will likely assess athletes against the quality of the group. If coaches recommend an atlete needs to change groups for matched skill level, regardless of age, they will do so. 

Goalkeeper training will be incorporated into training sessions.
The training for goalkeepers during these sessions will foucs on repetitive efforts and developing their first touch and clearance work.  
Hockey WA plans to have a specialist goal keeper trainer at this session.

Week 1: Monday 11th August or Wednesday 13th August 2025

Week 2: Monday 18th August or Wednesday 20th August 2025

Week 3: Monday 25th August or Wednesday 27th August 2025

Week 4: Monday 1st September or Wednesday 3rd September 2025

Week 5: Monday 8th September or Wednesday 10th September 2025

Week 6: Monday 15th September or Wednesday 17th September 2025

Cost:

1 session a week (can be either Monday or Wednesday):  $250.00 for 6 weeks training

2 sessions a week - (both Monday and Wednesday): $480.00 for 6 weeks training 

Note: If you cannot make one of the weeks, you will be able to make up the following week. If already signed up for two days a week, Hockey WA will credit the sessions for Term 4 programs.
