Technical Officials Workshop with Tammy Standley – FIH Technical Official

Technical Officials (TOs) play a vital role in the management and coordination of hockey, from judging individual games to overseeing entire tournaments. Their contribution is essential to the smooth functioning of the sport.

Hockey WA invites both new and experienced officials to attend the Technical Officials Workshop, presented by Tammy Standley, FIH Technical Official and three-time Olympic Games official.

This interactive session will cover key aspects of technical officiating, including:

• Game management strategies
• Effective communication techniques
• Best practices in technical officiating

Participants may also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the upcoming KMSB Youth International Gryphon Cup, taking place from Thursday, 20 November to Sunday, 23 November 2025.
