HWA RETURNS TO SOUTH WEST

Hockey WA  commenced the highly successful Emerging Thundersticks Program for regional athletes in the South West IN LATE 2025. This program is designed to create a direct pathways towards the South West Academy of Sport, and is a newly created underpinning program.

Why have we commenced this program?

• Ongoing Talent ID of our regional state athletes  across the region. To maintain the connection and development strategies with Hockey WA Performance coaches.
• Reduce travel to Perth
• Training from Hockey WA State Performance & Pathways Coaches (from Perth)
• Prepare age groups for the State trials.
