2023 WA Under-18s men’s and women’s training squads announced

The training squads for the 2023 WA Under-18s men’s and women’s teams have been announced, with 40 boys and 41 girls selected after a thorough trial process.
The process comprised of an initial set of trials on Saturday 29 April and Sunday 30 April, followed by two additional trials for selected athletes on Monday 1 May and Wednesday 3 May.
Goalkeepers were also subject to supplementary trials under the eye of a designated goalkeeper selection panel.
The squads will now commence a two-week training block consisting of four sessions before final teams and train ons are announced on Thursday 18 May.
Training for the selected squads begins on Monday 8 May, 6:00pm – 7:30pm (men) and 7:30 – 9:00pm (women) at Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University (PHS-1).
