2025 Fuel to Go & Play Club Championships Girls J7/8 Wrap

WA’s emerging hockey talents lit up the field as the Fuel to Go & Play Club Championships wrapped up for another successful year.

From Wednesday 16 July to Friday 18 July, teams from across the state showcased their skills at Perth Hockey Stadium in the Girls J7/8 competition.

A total of 14 teams initially competed in pool matches before being split into two divisions based on their pool stage performance.

Division 1 saw Whitford complete a remarkable tournament journey, narrowly defeating a resilient Busselton Hockey Association side 2-1 to secure the Club Championship title.

Both teams delivered impressive performances throughout the competition, culminating in a thrilling Grand Final that perfectly capped off two exciting weeks of the Fuel to Go and Play Club Championships.

In Division 2, Victoria Park emerged victorious in a tightly contested match, edging out Melville 1-0 in a hard-fought battle.
