2025 Fuel to Go & Play Club Championships Mixed J11/12 Wrap

WA’s rising hockey stars continue to light up the turf as the Fuel to Go & Play Club Championships roll on.

From Tuesday 15 July to Thursday 17 July, teams from across the state showcased their skills at Troy Pickard Hockey Centre and Hale Hockey Club in the Mixed J11/12 competition.

A total of 13 teams competed in the three-day tournament, with five teams in Division 1 and eight teams in Division 2.

In a thrilling Division 1 Grand Final, Como Secondary College emerged victorious with a 4-2 win over Victoria Park.

The winning team, made up of students from Como’s renowned specialist hockey academy, showcased their skill and determination throughout the tournament, securing several dominant wins on their path to the final.

Victoria Park, despite the final scoreline, delivered a strong performance across the competition.

Their consistent success in division matches earned them a well-deserved place in the Grand Final, where they put up a commendable fight against the eventual champions.

In Division 2, Victoria Park overcame a determined Esperance Hockey Association outfit 3-3 (8-7 SO) in a thrilling finish at Troy Pickard Hockey Centre.

The Fuel to Go & Play Club Championships continues with the remainder of the Girls J7/8 competition, set to conclude on Friday 18 July at Perth Hockey Stadium.
