CSBP Hockey Festivals ready to rock WA regions

Published Fri 27 May 2022

Regional areas across Western Australia are set to rock this June through CSBP Hockey Festivals – providing high-quality, memorable and engaging hockey experiences for young and old.

The 2022 CSBP Hockey Festivals will be held in Narrogin (20 June), Bruce Rock (21 June), Northam (22 June) and Geraldton (24 June), with details on a Great Southern leg to be confirmed.

Through CSBP’s support, Hockey WA will run hockey clinics and carnivals featuring high-profile players and coaches to provide hockey-related attractions for all members of the community.

“We are incredibly excited about taking high-quality hockey coaches and high-profile players to regional areas this June,” Hockey WA CEO Fabian Ross said.

“The CSBP Hockey Festivals will provide wonderful opportunities for young children in particular to pick up a stick, play hockey and learn skills from some of our state’s best.

“We’re very grateful for CSBP’s support and can’t wait to see the success of these Festivals not just in 2022 but in the years ahead too.”

CSBP Fertilisers General Manager Mark Scatena:

“We’ve seen the enjoyment these hockey events can bring to our regional communities and we’re very excited to provide more opportunities for people to come together to learn and play hockey this year,” Mr Scatena said.

“We’re thrilled to be able to bring key hockey figures from across Western Australia to the CSBP Hockey Festivals. Their presence will bring an added level of excitement which we hope will encourage people to take up hockey and develop new skills in fun and engaging events.”

Interested parties are asked to contact their local school and/or club to get involved in the activities.
