Generational hockey love hits Narrogin summer tournament
Published Fri 28 Jan 2022
Multiple generations of a hockey-mad family hit the field at Narrogin’s 7-a-side Summer Hockey tournament over the summer, with three generations of the same family playing in the same team.
Deb Green (Mother), Scott Edwards (Son) and Mariah and Veronica Edwards (Granddaughters) competed in the Wheatbelt town’s Summer Hockey tournament, taking team chemistry to new heights.
The family has played hockey for a number of years, with Deb currently playing seniors for Narrogin Robins Hockey Club in the local competition.
Scott has not played since his teens but dusted off the stick to join his Mother Deb, whilst his Daughters Mariah and Veronica, who continue to play in the local juniors and seniors’ competition, plied their trade as talented young players.
An amazing effort by all, showcasing that hockey is a sport for life!
