Hockey WA to bring Umpiring Courses to Geraldton

Hockey WA is heading to Geraldton to deliver two valuable development opportunities for umpires and umpire coaches in the Mid West.

Whether you're stepping onto the field for the first time or looking to guide the next generation of officials, these courses are designed to build confidence, strengthen skills, and support the growth of hockey in the region.

Foundation Lead Umpire Course

Date: Thursday 30 April
Time: 5.30pm
Venue: Geraldton Hockey Association

Kickstart your 2026 season with solid foundations! This practical, hands-on session is ideal for new umpires or anyone wanting to refresh and refine their skills ahead of the upcoming season.

Participants will learn key elements of effective umpiring, including:

Umpire Coaching Course

Date: Saturday 2 May
