Hockey WA to celebrate Magic Moments and Greatest Goals

Hockey WA is searching for footage capturing great goals, magic moments and simply the best bits of play from at all levels of the game across 2022 – and will publish them online for the hockey world to see and celebrate.

Each month starting in June, Hockey WA will be celebrating the state’s Greatest Goals and Magic Moments, giving stars of clubs and teams at all levels of the game and from all ages, the opportunity to have their time in the sun and receive worthy celebration.

Players, teams and supporters from all levels of the game are invited to submit their nominations, with the highlights voted the best by fans in line to win a range of great prizes.

To enter your footage, simply follow the following simple steps:

1. Send an email, with subject ‘MAGIC MOMENT’ or ‘GREATEST GOAL’, with your footage to media@hockeywa.org.au OR Drop your footage in our dedicated Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1avSU_HFzxAHwRGJ6y7p0Hx8CK9j7bY8u?usp=sharing
2. Include in your email details about the superb bit of play, including the teams/clubs, players and regions involved, and date the highlight occurred 
3. Include also include in your email contact details – name, phone and email

Magic Moment and Greatest Goal videos will be published each month during the hockey season, with final inclusions at Hockey WA discretion.

Each month, hockey stakeholders will be given the opportunity to vote for the piece of play they deem most worthy of being crowned monthly champion, across both categories.

• Magic Moment and Greatest Goal #1 – footage deadline Friday 1 July
• July Magic Moment and Greatest Goal #2 – footage deadline Monday 1 August
• August Magic Moment and Greatest Goal #3 – footage deadline Thursday 1 September
• September Magic Moment and Greatest Goal #4 – footage deadline Friday 1 October
