Hockey WA and the Perth Thundersticks have officially opened Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for athletes aiming to be selected in the 2026 Perth Thundersticks program.

With preparations underway for the 2026 ONE Active Hockey One season, athletes are encouraged to submit an EOI and put themselves forward. This process helps us identify committed, high-performing players who are ready to compete at the national level and contribute to the proud Perth Thundersticks legacy.

In 2026, we remain focused on strengthening our program by creating a high-quality, supportive environment where athletes can thrive and perform at their best.

We also recognise the important role Club coaches play in the athlete pathway. While Premier coaches will not be nominating players this year, our PTX Coaches may contact clubs, to ensure any potential athletes have not been missed. 

Once player EOIs are received, the Perth Thundersticks coaching staff and selectors will review all submissions, consult with applicants where required, and begin shaping the 2026 squads.
