POSITION VACANT | Board & Governance Coordinator (Part-Time/Flexible)

Hockey WA is seeking a highly organised and experienced professional individual to support the effective governance and administration of the organisation. The primary focus of this role is the planning, coordination and management of Hockey WA Board and Committee meetings, including the preparation of Board and General meeting agendas, recording of accurate minutes, maintenance of action registers, and follow-up of agreed actions and outcomes.

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a sound understanding of governance principles within a not-for-profit sporting environment. Experience working with boards, committees, executive teams, within defined governance frameworks will be highly regarded.

This role offers flexibility in working hours, the opportunity to work from home, and the ability to attend some after-hours meetings, which may be conducted remotely. It is an ideal opportunity for a governance professional seeking a flexible and meaningful role within Western Australian sport.

Reporting to Graeme Hall, General Manager of the Australian Hockey Centre and the CEO, the position will be a casual contract arrangement. Remuneration will be set at an attractive level for the correct applicant.
