GOLDFIELDS-ESPERANCE
Goldfields

It’s week five of the Eastern Goldfields hockey competition – and things are beginning to heat up!

Norths and Pegasus A1 and A2 women will open the weekend with a Friday night spectacle under lights, with matches getting underway at 6:30pm.

Saturday’s action will feature a four-game club day between Mines and YMHC.

First, the ladies competition will get the day started – the A2 women beginning at 1:00pm, followed by the A1 women.

Then, the men’s matches between the two sides will take place after, followed by the A1 and A2 men’s clashes between Norths and Pegasus.

Sunday will see junior action during the day, rounded out by some senior action in the A2’s – Veterans taking on CBC.

GREAT SOUTHERN
Upper Great Southern – Narrogin

The fixtures are out, and the season is about to ramp up in Narrogin.

In the Sportspower Men’s A Grade competition, Warriors and Riffs will host the season opener on Friday evening, followed by Lakers and All Blacks.

Then on Saturday, in the Men’s B Grade competition, Riffs and Warriors will be the first match of the day, followed by Olympics and Pingelly, then afterward All Blacks and Williams.

Lower Great Southern – Albany

Just one week until the competition is underway!

Games in the local hockey season will commence next weekend for Men’s and Women’s A and B grades, as well as junior grades.

SOUTH WEST
Bunbury

The South West Hockey League is back this weekend.

Friday night, reigning premiers Boyanup will take on Marist in the mens and women’s hockey competitions.

Then the following day, the women’s competition will see Robins play associates, and Exies aganst Towns/Souths.

The men’s Exies side will also take on Towns/Souths, and Wests will look to grab a win over Associates.

Nominations are now open for Bunbury players wishing to compete in the South West Junior Hockey Carnival. Staged from 4-6 June at Bunbury & Districts Hockey Stadium, the event attracts some of the region’s best talent across 5/6 7/8 and 9/10 age groups. Click here to register!
