Upper Great Southern – Narrogin Good news for those in the Upper Great Southern Hockey Association. The all-new high-quality lights are progressing faster than originally scheduled, but it does mean until next Friday all sides will have to train without lighting. It's part of a project to upgrade the facilities in the area and ensure teams are playing on top-grade facility turfs.Association representatives thank everyone for their patience, and reassure that it won't be long until everyone is back to normal.
MID WEST Geraldton The Geraldton Hockey Association is seeking a few volunteers to make some vital updates to club facilities ahead of the season. Anyone who wishes to help hang up new nets and repair the existing goals is asked to contact the Association at SOUTH WEST Bunbury In the A3 women's competition, a forfeit from Donnybrook in the first match of the weekend led to a 5-0 win for Marist. Exies Kittens scored a narrow 1-0 win over Exies Cougars on a late Friday night match, then Saturday saw ladder-leading Boyanup with a 3-nil win over Associaties. The A3 men's draw was filled with excitement... with Towns/Souths White able to pip Associates of a win, the scoreline 3-2 at the final buzzer. Marist won 2-0 over Exies, followed the next day by a dominant 5-0 win for Donnybrook over Exies Cubs. The real excitement was in the Boyanup and Harvey game though, with a tight match resulting in a three-all draw at full-time. For fixtures and results, click here.
