Some of Western Australia’s best regional hockey players will congregate at Perth Hockey Stadium this weekend for the 2021 CBH Group Women’s Country Championships.
The eagerly-awaited championships will see 42 sides travel to Perth from as far north as the Pilbara, as far east as the Goldfields, and as far South as Albany, to compete in an exciting three days of hockey from Friday, June 18 until Sunday, June 20.
Friday morning, the Masters Division One, as well as Division Two will commence the turf action on PHS-1 and PHS-2, with the grass matches started off by Division Three and Four matches.
There are a total of seven divisions, with a high number of nominations resulting in Division Three and Four each being split into two even pools.
Busselton, Geraldton, Lower Great Southern and Upper Great Southern will compete for the ultimate prize - the CBH Group Women's Country Championships Division One title, their first matches being played on Friday afternoon.
Every match scheduled on PHS-1 during the tournament will be live streamed through The West’s online subscription service and allows fans from any location to enjoy the three days of women’s hockey.
All of the selected streamed matches will feature high-quality vision, with the final day (Sunday) also set to include commentary.
