Stiles Electrical Premier League Round 13 wrap

Following a two-week break, teams in the Stiles Electrical Premier League have officially kicked off the final stretch toward the finals as competition resumes.


Men's

The Men’s competition roared back to life following the mid-season break, with teams showcasing renewed intensity and flair as the race to the finals heats up.

Hale 2 def. Melville 1
Hale continued to build momentum in their finals campaign, edging out Melville 2-1 in a tightly contested match. Their disciplined approach and late-game composure proved decisive.

Victoria Park 7 def. North Coast Raiders 1
Victoria Park delivered a statement performance, dominating North Coast Raiders 7-1. Ky Willott and Harley Muir led the charge, each scoring twice in a match that highlighted Victoria Park’s attacking depth.

Reds 4 drew WASPS 4
In one of the round’s most thrilling encounters, Reds and WASPS played out an exciting 4-4 draw. Both sides traded goals in a fast-paced match that kept spectators on edge until the final whistle.

YMCC 8 def. Whitford 4
A striking masterclass unfolded between Cooper Burns and Fraser Heigh in the clash between YMCC and Whitford. Burns was unstoppable, scoring six of YMCC’s eight goals, while Heigh netted all four for Whitford in a standout individual effort.

UWA 9 def. Mods-OGM 2
UWA cruised to a dominant 9-2 win over Mods-OGM, with Tom Wickham and Harry Golding both securing hat-tricks. Their attacking partnership proved lethal as UWA overwhelmed the opposition.

Fremantle Cockburn 2 def. Westside Wolves 1
Fremantle Cockburn wrapped up the weekend’s action with a fiery 2-1 win over Westside Wolves. The match was marked by intensity and physicality, with Fremantle holding firm to claim the points.


Women's

Following a mid-season break, the Women’s competition in the Stiles Electrical Premier League returned with a bang, as teams showcased renewed energy and sharp form in a series of dominant performances.

Suburban Lions 7 def. UWA 2
At Lemnos Field, Suburban Lions delivered one of the most commanding performances of the round, dismantling UWA 7-2. Georgina Dowd was unstoppable in the first half, securing a hat-trick and setting the tone for her team’s attacking onslaught. The Lions’ cohesive play and clinical finishing proved too much for UWA to handle.

Victoria Park 6 def. North Coast Raiders 0
Victoria Park mirrored that dominance with a 6-0 win over North Coast Raiders. Beatriz Monger-Molowny starred with a hat-trick of her own, leading a relentless offensive charge that left the Raiders struggling to contain the pressure.

Reds 2 def. WASPS 0
Bella Connelly continued her impressive goal-scoring form, netting both goals in Reds’ 2-0 victory over WASPS. Her performance further strengthens her claim as one of the league’s top strikers this season.

YMCC 2 def. Whitford 0
In a more tightly contested match, YMCC held off a determined Whitford side to secure a 2-0 win. Solid defensive structure and timely goals ensured YMCC maintained control throughout the match.

Hale 3 def. Melville 0
Hale rounded out the weekend’s action with a convincing 3-0 win over Melville. Their disciplined play and consistent pressure kept Melville on the back foot, sealing a well-earned three points.


Premier Division 2

In the Men's competition, Hale overcame Melville with a 4-2 victory, Nathan Botha starred in Reds' 2-0 win over WASPS, Whitford edged past YMCC in a tight 2-1 contest, Curtin University held off a strong challenge from Victoria Park, winning 5-3, a thrilling hat-trick from Haseef Salim powered Fremantle Cockburn to a 4-3 win over Westside Wolves, and Rockinghame Redbacks narrowly defeated UWA 4-3 in a high-scoring encounter.

In the Women's competition, UWA secured a 3-1 win over Suburban Lions, Victoria Park and Curtin University played out a 1-1 draw in a closely fought match,Reds dominated with a 3-0 victory against North Coast Raiders, Westside Wolves claimed a 4-1 win over Fremantle Cockburn, and a decisive goal from Caitlin Mundy gave Hale a narrow 1-0 win over Melville.
