Teams to fight for first-ever gold in Masters Tournament

The Bevan George and Kobie McGurk Cups are set for a scintillating final day of action on Sunday 31 October at Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University, with the legendary sides looking to chase glory and round off a weekend of wonder.
The women’s Outbacks have completed an undefeated run for the tournament after securing a 2-1 win over the Breakers in the Kobie McGurk Cup.
The Outbacks are now set to face the Suns in the Gold Medal Match, after the Suns pulled off a win over the Highlanders to reach the big dance after sitting at the bottom of the standings after two matches.
The Bevan George Gold Medal Match will see the Suns and Breakers face off in what shapes to be a strongly contested match.
The Breakers started off the tournament in red-hot fashion, reaching the Gold Medal Match despite losing to the Outbacks 3-1 in round three; they will face the Suns who are coming off a 5-1 drubbing over the Highlanders.
The Highlanders and Breakers will face off in the women’s Bronze Medal Match, with the Outbacks and Highlanders going head to head in the Bevan George Cup Bronze Medal Match.
