Mods-OGM def by Victoria Park 2-7
Victoria Park continued their strong start to the 2026 TeamStar Premier League season, recording a five‑goal win over Mods‑OGM at Guildford Grammar on Tuesday 31 March. The Panthers opened the scoring in the first quarter through a Joel Crothers field goal and steadily built their advantage, adding further goals via Jayden Atkinson, Kurtis Scaini and Ky Willott. Mods‑OGM found a response just before half time, with Brett Stevens converting to cut the margin. As Mods‑OGM looked to apply pressure throughout the second half, Victoria Park remained composed and in control, extending their lead as the match wore on. A late field goal from Judd Diletti provided a consolation for Mods‑OGM, but the Panthers held firm to close out another convincing victory.

YMCC continued their strong run under the lights, scoring early and holding off a determined Melville side to claim a two‑goal victory at Lemnos Field on Tuesday 31 March. The hosts made a fast start, with Liam Henderson and Cooper Burns both finding the back of the net inside the opening minutes to establish an early advantage. From there, the contest settled into a highly competitive battle, with both sides trading possession and working hard to deny scoring opportunities. Melville applied sustained defensive pressure and challenged YMCC throughout the match but were unable to convert their chances. YMCC remained composed across the second half, managing the contest effectively to secure their second consecutive win.

Hale continued to build momentum in the 2026 season, holding off a determined Fremantle Cockburn by a single goal under lights at Lakelands Hockey & Sporting Facility on Thursday 2 April. Fremantle Cockburn made a sharp start, opening the scoring just two minutes in through a Diarmid Chappell field goal and maintaining their 1–0 advantage through the first quarter. Hale responded in the second term, with Liam Flynn finding the back of the net, but the Magpies answered soon after via Jack Welch to take a 2–1 lead into half time. A competitive third quarter followed, with both sides trading possession and limiting chances. The match was decided in the final term, as Hale lifted their intensity and overturned the deficit with quick‑fire goals from Charlie Johnston and Flynn to complete the comeback and secure the win.

Westside Wolves continued their strong early form, recording a four‑goal win over WASPS at Perth Hockey Stadium on Thursday 2 April. The Wolves set the tone early, opening the scoring within the first five minutes through a Jake Harvie field goal, before Joel Rintala added a penalty corner goal to extend the early advantage. WASPS responded late in the opening quarter, with Craig Marais converting from a penalty corner, but the Wolves maintained the lead at quarter time. Despite WASPS’ efforts to stifle the visitors, Westside Wolves extended their advantage before the main break. A field goal from Dane Gavranich and a second penalty corner strike from Rintala pushed the lead out to 4–1 at half time. The Wolves continued to build after the break, with Tom Keating scoring a field goal in the third quarter. WASPS mounted a final‑term challenge through a second goal from Marais, but Westside Wolves responded, with Rintala completing his hat‑trick from a penalty corner as the Wolves held firm to close out the win.

UWA continued their strong early form, holding off the Reds by two goals under lights at UWA Superturf on Tuesday 7 April. The reigning premiers opened the scoring through Cam Geddes, who converted a penalty corner to give the home side the early advantage. The Reds responded shortly after, with Jeremy Hayward also scoring from a penalty corner to level the scores by quarter time. An evenly contested second quarter followed, with both sides trading possession and limiting clear opportunities. UWA eventually broke the deadlock in the 40th minute, Ben Baxter finishing a field goal to put the hosts back in front. The Reds pushed hard in the final quarter, earning several penalty corners as they searched for an equaliser, but UWA held firm defensively. Whitford def. North Coast Raiders 4-0
Whitford secured a long‑awaited win, shutting down North Coast Raiders to record a four‑goal victory at Troy Pickard Hockey Centre on Tuesday 31 March. After an even opening period, Whitford made the breakthrough late in the first quarter, with Alannah Boseley finishing a field goal to give the home side the advantage at quarter time. Momentum continued in the second term as Maya Keating broke through the Raiders’ defence to double the lead by half time. North Coast Raiders applied sustained pressure after the break, but Whitford remained composed. Olivia Shannon extended the margin in the 37th minute with a well‑taken field goal, before the home side struck again early in the final quarter when Maddison Brooks converted from a penalty corner. After both sides traded possession through a competitive opening quarter, the Wolves struck first through Madison Naish, who found the back of the net to give her side the early advantage. WASPS applied pressure, but the Wolves remained composed and extended their lead before half time, with Ruby Rankin converting a field goal to make it 2–0. Following the break, WASPS continued to press, however Westside Wolves maintained control. Ruby Bell added a third in the 42nd minute with a well‑taken field goal, before Madi Ratcliffe capped off the performance in the final term, converting from a penalty corner to seal the victory.

Hale responded quickly, with Shanae Haywood converting a field goal just two minutes later before Tyler Pedley added another to give the visitors a 2–1 lead at quarter time. The second quarter remained competitive, with both sides trading possession and limiting scoring opportunities. Hale managed to extend their advantage in the third term, Haywood finishing her second field goal to push the margin out to 3–1 at three‑quarter time.
