Westside Wolves def. Fremantle Cockburn 6-4
Westside Wolves continued to build on their strong early‑season form, claiming a two‑goal victory over Fremantle Cockburn under lights at Lemnos Field on Friday 10 April. The Wolves opened the scoring in milestone fashion during Will Byas’ 150th game, with player‑coach Aaron Kleinschmidt finding the net in the ninth minute. Fremantle Cockburn responded promptly, as Harrison Banyard converted a field goal to level the scores by quarter time. A tightly contested second quarter saw the Wolves regain the lead, with Dane Gavranich finishing a field goal to hand his side a 2–1 advantage at the main break. The Wolves took control in the third quarter, capitalising on penalty corner opportunities through Tom Harvie, Xavier Yem and Joe Welch to extend their lead to four goals at the final change. While Fremantle Cockburn mounted a spirited fightback in the final term—highlighted by a field goal from Fraser Heigh and two successful penalty strokes from Ehren Hazell—a late field goal from Tom Keating sealed a 6–4 win for the Wolves.

UWA def. WASPS 3-1
UWA have extended their undefeated run with a composed two‑goal win over WASPS at UWA Superturf on Friday 10 April. After a tight opening quarter, UWA struck first through captain Coby Green, who converted a penalty stroke to give the home side a 1–0 lead at the first break. UWA built on their advantage in the second quarter, with Kai Bowden and Harry Golding both finding the back of the net to take a commanding 3–0 lead into half time. The contest tightened in the third term as both sides traded possession, with WASPS defending resolutely to deny UWA from several penalty corner opportunities. WASPS were rewarded late in the quarter when Charlie McIntyre finished a field goal to reduce the margin to two goals. An evenly matched final quarter saw chances at both ends, but UWA held firm defensively to close out the match and secure the victory.

Hale def. Mods-OGM 3-0
Hale have continued to build on their strong early‑season form, recording a three‑goal victory over Mods‑OGM at Hale Hockey Club on Saturday 11 April. Mods‑OGM created an early opportunity from a penalty corner, but it was Hale who opened the scoring, with Sam Ashton netting a field goal in the ninth minute to give the home side the lead. Hale extended their advantage before the main break, as captain Liam Flynn added a field goal, followed soon after by Ashton’s second of the match, to take a 3–0 lead into half time. Mods‑OGM looked to mount a response in the second half, but Hale’s disciplined defence limited their scoring chances. With both sides trading possession through the remainder of the contest, Hale maintained control to secure the win.

YMCC have edged Reds in a fiercely contested encounter, claiming a narrow one‑goal victory at Aquinas College on Saturday 11 April. An evenly matched opening saw both sides trade possession, with neither able to break through early. The deadlock was finally broken in the 24th minute, when Hamish Adamson struck a field goal to put YMCC in front. Both teams continued to contest strongly for the remainder of the match, but YMCC held their composure defensively to protect their lead and secure the win.

Melville def. Whitford 7-2
Melville have bounced back emphatically from recent losses, delivering a comprehensive 7–2 victory over Whitford at Melville Toyota Stadium on Saturday 11 April. The home side made a blistering start, with captain Matt Willis setting the tone by opening the scoring inside the first minute. Melville quickly built on the early momentum, as James Day converted a penalty corner to extend the lead. Whitford responded through Luke Milne, who finished a field goal to narrow the margin, but Melville held firm to take a 2–1 advantage into quarter time. Melville continued to assert control in the second quarter, with field goals to Ben Staines and Daniel Moulin pushing the lead out to 4–1 at half time. A competitive third term saw Staines add his second of the match, before Whitford answered with a field goal from Samuel LeDain. Melville closed the match strongly in the final quarter, shutting down further Whitford opportunities, as Staines completed his hat‑trick from a penalty corner and Jesse Absolom added the final goal to seal a convincing five‑goal win.

Victoria Park def. North Coast Raiders 4-2
Victoria Park continued to build momentum with a hard‑fought two‑goal win over North Coast Raiders at Perth Hockey Stadium on Sunday 12 April. A competitive opening quarter saw Victoria Park create several chances from penalty corners, but it was the Raiders who struck first, with David Beevers converting from a penalty corner to give the visitors the lead at quarter time. Victoria Park responded early in the second term through Harley Muir, who finished a field goal to level the scores. Both sides traded possession for the remainder of the half, heading into the main break locked at 1–1. The Panthers took control after half time, with Trent Scaini and Kurtis Scaini both finding the back of the net to swing the momentum in Victoria Park’s favour. The Raiders remained within striking distance, however, as Jeff Ball converted a penalty corner to keep the contest alive. Another tightly contested final quarter followed, before Jeremy Pilatti sealed the result with a late penalty corner goal, securing a 4–2 victory for Victoria Park.

UWA def. WASPS 3-0
UWA marked a significant milestone in style, recording a 3–0 victory over WASPS under lights at UWA Superturf on Friday 10 April. Celebrating club stalwart Shayni Nelson’s 400th game, UWA wasted no time asserting control, with Prada Herron opening the scoring inside the first minute. The home side extended their advantage soon after, as Torva Sharwood finished a field goal to give UWA a 2–0 lead by quarter time. The second and third quarters proved tightly contested, with both sides evenly matched and defences on top. The deadlock was finally broken in the 48th minute, when Herron struck her second field goal of the night to confirm a memorable 3–0 win for UWA.

Westside Wolves def. Fremantle Cockburn 6-0
Westside Wolves continued their strong form and celebrated Isadora Rakich’s 150th game in emphatic fashion, recording a convincing 6–0 victory over Fremantle Cockburn at Lemnos Field on Friday 10 April. Fremantle Cockburn looked to assert early pressure through a penalty corner opportunity, but it was the Wolves who opened the scoring, with Georgina Mallon striking a field goal. Madi Ratcliffe soon followed, converting a penalty corner to give the Wolves a 2–0 lead at quarter time. The Wolves maintained control throughout the second quarter, as Jordyn Holzberger converted from a penalty corner before Ruby Rankin added a late field goal to extend the margin to 4–0 at half time. Fremantle Cockburn attempted to mount a response in a competitive third quarter, but the Wolves’ defence stood firm. The Wolves put an exclamation point on the performance in the final term, with Ratcliffe netting her second goal from a penalty corner before milestone player Rakich capped off the night with a field goal to seal a dominant 6–0 win.

The second and third quarters developed into a tight stalemate, as both sides battled for possession with defences holding firm and opportunities limited. The deadlock was finally broken late in the contest, when Hannah Carmody struck a field goal in the 58th minute to seal a hard‑fought victory for the home side.

The opening quarter was tightly contested, with both sides trading possession in an evenly matched start and neither able to find a breakthrough. The Lions broke the deadlock early in the second term, as Maria Guastavino converted a penalty corner to put the visitors in front. Hale pushed to respond, but the Lions capitalised on further set‑piece opportunities, with Georgina Dowd and Courtney Schonell both scoring from penalty corners to extend the lead to 3–0 by half time. The second half remained closely fought, as Hale continued their efforts to work back into the contest. However, the Lions’ defence held strong, allowing the visitors to maintain control and claim the three‑goal win.

Reds and YMCC played out an evenly matched contest at Aquinas College on Saturday 11 April, with the clash ultimately ending in a draw. A competitive opening saw both sides trade possession, with neither able to break through early. The deadlock was finally broken in the second quarter, when Bella Connelly struck twice in quick succession—netting two field goals within three minutes to give Reds the advantage. YMCC responded promptly, with Jessie Stewart converting a penalty corner to reduce the margin to a single goal by half time. The third quarter developed into a tight stalemate, with defences on top and opportunities limited at both ends. That pattern continued into the final term until Siena Tonkin produced a crucial late moment, calmly converting a penalty stroke to bring the scores level and secure the draw.

After a competitive opening, Victoria Park struck first through Beatriz Monger‑Molowny, who finished a field goal to give the home side the early advantage. The second quarter remained tightly contested until Emma Reid extended Victoria Park’s lead late in the term with a field goal, sending the Panthers into half time with a 2–0 buffer. Both sides traded possession through a stalemate third quarter, with defences holding firm. Victoria Park regained control in the final term, as Georgia Hiskins added a field goal to seal a 3–0 victory.
