The WA hockey community has united to raise more than $1800 for Channel 7’s Telethon.
Donations were made by members of the WA hockey community through gold-coin donations at the recent Emergency Triage Services All-Stars Challenge event, played at Perth Hockey Stadium at Curtin University on 11 October. Telethon provides equipment for children in hospital, critical services for children with disabilities and life-changing opportunities for disadvantaged children.
“We are immensely proud of the Western Australian hockey community’s efforts to raise funds for a great cause, Telethon, at our recent Emergency Triage Services All-Stars Challenge,” Hockey WA CEO Stu Gilsenan said.
“Thanks to everyone who donated to this tremendous charity, one that makes a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable children across the state.”
