WA National Futures athletes learn from the best

WA’s National Futures Athletes have had a valuable learning experience and insight into the career of former Kookaburra and Thunderstick Graeme Begbie recently.
Graeme spoke about his journey through the Hockey WA and WAIS Pathway and how he responded to the various challenges that he faced during his career.
Graeme is still playing quality hockey for YMCC in the All Flags Premier League and our up and coming WA juniors are fortunate to be able to learn from great people who have represented WA with distinction.
Well done to WAIS Coaches Stephanie Andrews and Chris O’Reilly for organising this valuable mentoring opportunity and supporting the development of our WA National Futures players.
