Stiles Electrical Services provides spark to Premier League competition

As Australia’s finest hockey talent gear up for an action-packed club season, Hockey WA are thrilled to welcome Stiles Electrical Services as a major partner for 2024.

Stiles Electrical Services have come on board as the Naming Rights sponsor of the Premier League Men’s and Women’s competitions, which will be referred to as the ‘Stiles Electrical Premier League’.

It comes as the Stiles Electrical Premier League gets set to kick off another jam-packed year of hockey, with Round One taking place from Friday 5 April to Sunday 7 April.

Stiles Electrical Business Development manager James Ridgway said Stiles Electrical is excited to support the growth and development of hockey in WA.

“Western Australia continues to be the powerhouse of Australian hockey and Stiles Electrical is delighted to play its part in strengthening the domestic competition and supporting the pathway for athlete progression from local to state, national and international competitions,” he said.

“As sports lighting specialists, we have successfully delivered installations across WA for over 25 years.

“As a result, Stiles is keen to give back and we plan to actively assist clubs by providing them with the best possible information and support when considering future upgrades to their floodlighting infrastructure.”

Hockey WA chief executive Fabian Ross said it is great to have an organisation like Stiles Electrical supporting hockey and building a partnership that will benefit both organisations.

“We are thrilled to have them on board as the major sponsor of our Premier League men’s and women’s competitions, which will provide valuable support to one of the strongest domestic competitions in the world,” he said.

Since 1999, Stiles Electrical Services have worked on a broad range of projects for local governments, sporting groups and clubs, being at the forefront of the latest technology having installed the first LED sports lighting upgrade in WA.

Along with delivering numerous civil, industrial, and commercial public infrastructure projects throughout the state, Stiles Electrical Services have also provided sport lighting upgrades to Peel Hockey Stadium, Bunbury Hockey Stadium, and the Upper Great Southern Hockey Association in Narrogin.
